This beautiful bamboo chopping board is a really special gift for someone you love, or just to treat yourself.

The design on the board is a personalised mandala created just for you using your choice of name or words.
Each ring of the mandala is created using a different letter from that name or word that you have provided.
The letters then spell out the word reading from the outside into the centre.

The design shown in the example images reads 'Lauren' and if you scroll through the images I have added an image with the reveal so you can understand how it might look. Some of the letters may be turned or adjusted slightly to create the mandala effect. The words are not obvious on first looking at the mandala so these become a great talking point when guests try to find the letters hidden in the design. This becomes a real Wow at parties (trust me, the board in the images is mine and everybody loves it!) Plus, it can be used everyday, so you get a beautiful piece of artwork for your home that does more than just gather dust!

These boards are made from a lovely bamboo wood which is great for your knives. (most people turn the board over to cut on it to save the knife from causing cuts in the design).

Made from a sustainable bamboo these are an eco friendly alternative to plastic cutting boards in your kitchen.

These boards measure 35x25cm and are 2cm deep. There is a hole at one end (or the top depending on which way you look at it) to be used as a handle for easy carrying when used as a serving tray.
Other size boards are also available so please do contact me if you would prefer a different style.

Each design is created by hand using pyrography meaning I burn the design into the board. I do this using a wire tip pyrography machine. This means the design will not rub off or spoil your food.

Care Instructions:

After use just wipe over with a soapy cloth, but do not soak in water or wash in the dishwasher as this may reduce the life of your beautiful board.
These boards are treated with a food safe mineral oil before posting. This does mean that it can cause a greasy mark on any wrapping paper you use if you plan to gift it so we suggest giving it wash first, and gifting in a gift bag, rather than a paper wrapping.
