Turtles are some of the most satisfying tank mates to have in an aquarium. But they can wreak havoc on your plants. The Poth-O-Carry® Versa Max already takes the plants to the surface which provides some cover, but our shelled friends can still get at the roots. The Turtle-Resistant Top helps discourage unwanted digging of the plant roots. While there are no guarantees a turtle will leave a plant completely alone, keeping the root ball safe is a great way to help ensure a plant can be chewed on but not chewed up.
