The PreAmplex is a hand-built, old-school point to point, full tube preamp. No turret/tagboards are used.

This unique preamp adds rich tube 3rd harmonics, compression and saturation and even emulates the saturation of a tube power amp!

In front of a guitar amp or mixing console it sounds exactly like 50's Bassman tweed, and adds rich saturated tube sound to your amp or recording, even at low volumes.
As an extra it can add an enormous amount of soft clipping drive that no solid state amp can ever do on its own, enough to satisfy the heaviest players and it can deliver up to 4dB of sustain!

The high input impedance of 2MOhm prevents tone sucking and makes it possible to plug your guitar straight into it without any loss of clarity and definition.
The output impedance of 10k is perfect to please any amp or pedal after it.

This is a totally new and patented design.
It features three tubes: one buffer, one tube to drive the top of the sine wave and one to drive the bottom of the sine wave.
The sine wave does not get clipped in square forms like in normal preamp overdrive and in overdrive and fuzz pedals but gets compressed softly, retaining a round shape. This results in a very warm and natural sound.

Anne is an engineer and got a degree in tube technology, back in the days when transistors were a novelty, and is professionally active in guitar amp repair and building. He is a master with skills and knowledge rarely seen these days.

Please give us some time to finish the products and carefully wrap and pack them. Highest quality is worth waiting a bit longer in my opinion 🙂
