This unique tube preamp is designed and built specially for (pedal) steel guitar.

It combines the characteristics of some of the most popular amps for (pedal) steel into one:

1) The preamp has the same EQ and tone control as the Peavey Session 400/500 with mid frequency shift control.
2) Being built with 6sn7 tubes it also has the typical octal tube sound which steel players like so much in amps like the Little Walter.
3) The input of the pedal functions as a buffer to reduce pickup loading and to maintain optimal clarity and a defined sound.
4) The adjustable input impedance lets you adapt the preamp to match different pickups and subtly color the sound to your liking.
5) The output is a low-impedance driver and can therefore be plugged directly into a mixing console or into a passive volume pedal without any loss of clarity!
